Following the Prime Minister’s announcement on Saturday evening, as your business advisors and accountants, I wanted to keep you informed on the operational plans of Mitten Clarke during lockdown 2.0 and the extension to the furlough scheme.
Mitten Clarke Measures
Our number one priority is to look after our people and our clients. We will therefore revert back to operating remotely and virtually from close of business this Wednesday. This means our team will work from home, with just a small number keeping the office open to ensure complete support for you.
The offices will be closed to visitors from the 5th, unless absolutely necessary, with any essential visits made by appointment only. We will continue to embrace technology, utilising Zoom to host meetings virtually with you and our partners, to ensure our seamless and successful service continues uninterrupted and throughout.
Furlough Extension and Business Support
For many businesses the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (Furlough) has been an invaluable lifeline throughout the pandemic, so it was a great relief that the Treasury have confirmed that it will be extended until December. I have summarised what we know about the extension of Furlough and other support available to businesses in our latest bulletin. Please access it via the below link:
We are very much here to help and support you in any way possible, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
